Covid-19 has disrupted our lives and created much hardship. Our major fundraising activity, the annual auction and gala dinner was cancelled to keep our donors and local community safe.

The Trustees are very grateful to Bob Knight, a long-standing supporter of the Friends of the Rose Bowl. He recognised that this caused a major shortfall in our funding.

Not only did Bob make a donation, he went above and beyond, by completing a gruelling 42.2km walk and inviting his friends and associates to ‘dig deep’. 

Remarkably he raised over £10,000.
