Successful NGS event supports Friends of the Rose Bowl

The Friends of the Rose Bowl Trustees are grateful to Liz and Jack Lambert for their long-standing support.

On the 2nd June their delightful garden was filled with neighbours, past residents, local children and visitors from far afield as part of the National Garden Scheme Open Day.

Along with Urban Hope, the Lamberts designate FoRB as the charity to receive a percentage of the funds raised from ticket and cake sales and the raffle.

Neighbours also make their contribution by donating the delicious home made cakes and their time  welcoming guests at the gates.

FoRB Trustees Oswin Baker (Chair), Dawn Brindle, Gordon Geddes and Sylvana Caloni helped to sell raffle tickets and share the story of the Rose Bowl Youth Club and its positive impacts on the children of the New River Estate.

FoRB Treasurer, Paul O’Donnell was also on hand to assist on the day.
