The Canonbury Society Christmas Party was held on the 7th December 2018. As usual it was very well attended. There were over 100 members and guests of all ages.

The Trustees of the Friends of the Rose Bowl are enormously grateful to Philip Walker, Chair of the Society for inviting Oswin Baker to update the guests on the activities at the Rose Bowl youth club.

He made an inspiring speech that was received very well. So much so that with the help of FoRB Trustee, Gordon Geddes, guests were encouraged to support the raffle to the tune of a record £370 in addition to a £20 donation.

The Canonbury Society is wonderfully supportive of FoRB and our fund raising to provide learning, skills, fun activities, a safe place and a sense of community at the Rose Bowl youth club for children living in the Borough of Islington.
