How You Can Help

The Friends of the Rose Bowl relies on the support of our local community in order to continue to raise funds to support the work of the Rose Bowl. Our target this year has increased by 25% to £50,000.

All of the Trustees and Friends who support our work give their time freely and are all local volunteers. This means that we have no overheads apart from the cost of preparing our accounts and some direct fund raising costs (hire of rooms, printing etc). Our aim is that the young people should benefit directly from the funds that we are successful in raising.

If you would like to help support us, there are a number of ways in which you can help. We have a number of fundraising events each year, which are always great fun to attend.

Members of the community have also been kind enough to raise funds through opening their gardens or running marathons. Local businesses have supported our auction by providing prizes or held special fund raising days (for example Mirela Health & Beauty).

We would also like to thank all those friends and supporters who give money regularly or who have a standing order. Not only do these donations make a very real difference they also mean that we are able to claim back the Gift Aid equating to some 25% for basic rate tax.
