Judging by the beaming smiles of the children, their proud parents and the dedicated workers at the Rose Bowl Youth Club, the 2017 Summer Celebration held on the 19th August was a great success. It was a fun day that brought our local communities together to mix with each other and to share food and drinks made by the children, laughter, stories and games.

Friends of the Rose Bowl Trustees, Denise Knight, Paul O’Donnell and Sylvana Caloni joined in the activities and were delighted to see the range of talents displayed.

Among other things, there was a great showcase of dance, music and singing performances and the children participated in face painting and creating head dresses for the Notting Hill Carnival.

The Mayor of Islington, Cllr Una O’Halloran also came to witness the activities and community spirit. See the article in the local press where she joins Adore Dance.
